Materials We Do Not Accept
For safety and environmental reasons, we do not accept the following:
- Hazardous or toxic materials (e.g. lead-based paint chips, mercury)
- Radioactive materials
- Pressurized containers (e.g. propane tanks, gas cylinders, fire extinguishers)
- We can accept these ONLY if they have been safely cut fully in half.
- Electronic waste (e-waste) – computers, monitors, TVs, etc.
- Treated wood or non-metal debris
- Paint cans or chemical containers
- Railroad Scrap (without a release from the Railroad)

If you need a container picked up, please give us a call! We will schedule a time with you to pick up your scrap. Dropping off instead? No appointment is necessary, but we do encourage you to call ahead for large volumes to minimize wait times.
What should I bring if I am dropping off scrap?
Bring a valid photo ID with your scrap metal, as required by Texas law.
